Power BI Architect

As a Power BI Customer Engineer, your role will involve working with a well esteemed client on a 12-month renewable contract. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your expertise in PowerBI to work with enterprise-sized companies or organizations - Handling complex large size data estates effectively To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proficiency in architecture, best practices, performance tuning, and troubleshooting related to SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI Report Server, and Power BI technologies - Deep understanding of data structure, data models, development, and tuning of BI solutions and reports - Experience in architecting high-volume SQL Server DW solutions, including tables, stored procedures, queries, T-SQL language, and minimum logging techniques - Expertise in load processes (ETL) through SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) - Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot reports, dashboards, paginated reports, and semantic models using Microsoft technologies such as PowerBI and SSRS - Familiarity with multidimensional/tabular semantic models using Microsoft BI OLAP platform (SSAS, Power BI semantic model) and relevant languages like Power Query, DAX, and MDX - Proficient in SQL Server BI platform (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS/Power BI Report Server) with knowledge of Power BI governance, administration, and troubleshooting - Experience with Fabric / Synapse will be a strong advantage Additionally, it is important for you to have expertise in the following areas: - PBI performance, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration - Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, infrastructure tuning, T-SQL code tuning, high availability, Failover Cluster Instance (FCI), Always On, data replication, security configurations, environment migration and updates, and database migration between different versions/editions - Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Databases (Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance) - Understanding of Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Analysis Services (SSAS) - Strong knowledge transfer skills for workshop demands Join our team at Penta Consulting and contribute your expertise to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.,
