Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of PostgreSQL databases by monitoring system metrics and implementing optimization strategies.
Collaborate with development teams to design database schema changes and migrate data between systems using various tools like SQL Server Management Studio.
Troubleshoot issues related to database performance tuning, query optimization, and data consistency.

Job Requirements :

6-9 years of experience in PostgreSQL administration on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Microsoft Azure).
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL database administration best practices including backups, recovery procedures, and security settings.
Experience with migration tools such as SQL Server Management Studio for migrating large datasets between systems.
Knowledge of cloud-based services offered by major providers (AWS/GCP/Microsoft Azure) including storage options, networking configurations.
