Role Overview: As a Database Administrator, your main responsibility will be to install, patch, and manage the Postgres Database Server. You will also be developing simple and complex stored procedures, functions, and views to meet enhancement requirements. Additionally, you will provide best practice guidance to the development team on database design and usage, as well as develop automation technologies to expedite the monitoring process. Your role will also involve writing optimized complex SQL queries, maintaining backup and recovery procedures, performing database tuning, and monitoring performance.
