Trainee/Jr. DBA

You should have 1 to 3 years of experience to be eligible for this position. Even though there is no vacancy for this position currently, you are welcome to visit again in the future! As an eligible candidate, you should hold a graduate or post-graduate degree in IT. Possessing a DBA certification (OCP) would be highly preferred. Additionally, having knowledge of Linux will be considered an added advantage. Familiarity with PL/SQL and Java Stored Procedures will also be beneficial for this role. Your responsibilities will include installing, patching, and managing the Oracle Database Server efficiently. You will be tasked with writing optimized complex SQL queries and ensuring the maintenance of sound backup and recovery procedures. Database tuning and performance monitoring will also fall under your purview, along with tuning expensive SQL queries. Moreover, you will be expected to assist developers and the support team with various database activities.,
