🚨 Postdoctoral Position Open | GOLD Labs – IISER Tirupati 🔬 Funding: ANRF-NPDF 📍 Location: Department of Earth and Climate Sciences, IISER Tirupati I am seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) to join our Economic Geology Research Group – GOLD (Genesis of Ore Fluids and Lode Development) at IISER Tirupati , under the support of the ANRF-NPDF scheme. 🧪 Project Theme: Genesis, Evolution, and Characterization of Hydrothermal Fluids Associated with Gold and Copper Mineralization This research aims to unravel the physico-chemical nature, sources, and evolution of hydrothermal fluids associated with auriferous and cupriferous mineral systems, using integrated fluid inclusion, stable isotope, mineral chemistry, and petrological approaches. 🔍 Ideal Candidate Profile: • Ph.D. in Earth Sciences / Geology with specialization in Economic Geology / Geochemistry / Petrology • Strong background in fluid inclusion studies, ore petrography, or stable isotopes. • Familiarity with mineral deposits of Precambrian terrains is an advantage. • Publication record relevant to ore deposit studies. 📝 How to Apply: Interested candidates should reach out with a CV, cover letter , and a brief research statement to chandan@labs.iisertirupati.ac.in.
