POS Tech Support Specialist

Role Overview: As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibility is to provide hardware and software support to customers, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of technical issues. You will troubleshoot a variety of devices including laptops, desktops, printers, and servers, as well as software systems such as Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems. Your role involves capturing customer interactions, documenting them in the CRM database, and collaborating with colleagues to identify trends in customer inquiries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to escalate potential product issues to the relevant teams for further improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide hardware and software support, troubleshooting issues on various devices and systems - Open and track support tickets, ensuring timely responses and one-call resolutions - Assist customers with installation, setup, and usage of company products - Analyze problems through troubleshooting, identify sources, and provide resolutions - Collaborate with colleagues to identify trends in customer inquiries - Escalate potential product issues to relevant teams for improvements - Maintain electronic records for all communications and escalations Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of the relationship between hardware and software - Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues - Knowledge of routers, switches, TCP/IP, and Active Directory - Familiarity with wireless technology and Microsoft Office - Experience with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong time management and customer-oriented approach - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to work flexible shifts,
