Job Description

Role : Release Manager Primary Skill: Release Manager Secondary Skill: xm/OT deployments and provide additional overnight support for xcp, dotcom, xoe, etc Main Skills: Release Manager: Key Responsibilities: Collect release / deployment / maintenance information from multiple sources (e.g. ECRs, Jira, written updates) and consolidate into the master release calendar Monitor the status of planned releases and keep the release calendar up-to-date Generate and distribute weekly reports on release management activities Work closely with teams to ensure timely resolution of tasks and issues related to upcoming releases Act as a point of contact for both internal and external (vendor) stakeholders regarding release-related inquiries Maintain accurate and organized records of release documentationincluding release plans, change requests, and post-release evaluations Identify and report potential risks and issues related to release management (e.g. release contention), collaborating across teams to develop mitigation strategies or reschedule releases Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of release management practices Release Management: Release Planning, Release Preparations/Release Day Activities including Sign-off MOP for Release day deployment Align external teams support required for a release Own Release timeline communication to required participants and impacted stakeholders Own collaborations amongst participating teams for the Release day Environment Management: Environment planning and maintenance Plan environment activities which include codebase upgrade, maintenance activities, and DB refresh activities Plan DB refresh activities in lower environments post collaboration with CCI/CEI boundary partner and DBA team Renew the SSL certificates for WATTS, CMAC, and SIRA application as per timelines and validate the changes Monitor environments by utilizing NewRelic, Splunk, netscaler tools Governance Security: Monitor application servers and DB patching activities for WATTS, CMAC, and SIRA Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with infrastructure support teams for implementation of infrastructure changes and capture upcoming maintenance activities PEGA Administration: Monitor applications health and ensure its stability Application/Integration Platforms Infrastructure Delivery Process Improvements Additional Details Global Grade : C Local Skills : release management;dotcom Languages Required: : ENGLISH
