Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver academic sessions and provide guidance on the usage of tools and equipment.
Act as custodian of equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and smooth functioning.
Conduct workshops and practical demonstrations as required.
Maintain log books and documentation related to lab usage and equipment.
Prepare material lists in advance and ensure availability of resources.
Oversee lab workflow, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to academic schedules.

Key Result Areas

Effective delivery of academic and practical sessions.
Proper maintenance and upkeep of lab equipment.
Timely preparation and availability of materials.
Accurate documentation and log book maintenance.
Smooth conduct of workshops and lab activities.

Key Competencies

Proficiency in garment manufacturing techniques, fabric handling, and finishing across menswear, womenswear, and kidswear.
Strong knowledge of machine setup and basic machine maintenance.
Expertise in fabric handling, garment construction, cutting, and pattern-making techniques.
Well-versed in both basic and advanced techniques in garment construction.
Ability to interpret and work with tech packs and specifications.
Hands-on knowledge of operating and demonstrating specialized machines such as:

Button & Buttonhole machines
Steam irons
Heavy-duty seam equipment
Jacket finishing machines
