Key Responsibilities of the Plumber

• Supports the smooth operation of plumbing and water systems throughout the hotel, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of water supply, drainage, sewage, sanitary fixtures, and piping systems

• Responds promptly and professionally to guest and operational requests related to plumbing issues

• Ensures assigned tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and within defined timelines

• Assists in implementing departmental plans and objectives, supporting hotel initiatives and performance targets

• Works closely with the Engineering team to control costs, manage spare parts inventory, and maintain productivity

• Builds and maintains effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values

• Ensures full compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies, maintaining proper documentation for audits

Requirements of the Plumber

• Diploma/ITI certification in Plumbing or a related technical trade

• Prior experience in plumbing maintenance preferred (hotel, hospital, or commercial property experience is an advantage)

• Strong hands-on technical skills with a proactive, can-do work approach

• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest comfort, hygiene, and service excellence

• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot independently, and implement effective solutions

• High personal integrity and the ability to work in a quality-driven, safety-focused environment

• Basic knowledge of IT systems and maintenance management platforms

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
