PL/SQL Support Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide

    L2/L3 application support

    for Oracle PL/SQL–based applications
  • Handle

    production incidents, service requests, and problem tickets

  • Perform

    data analysis and issue investigation

    using SQL queries
  • Monitor

    batch jobs, schedulers, and application processes

  • Conduct

    root cause analysis (RCA)

    and support preventive actions
  • Support

    UAT and production releases

    from an operational perspective
  • Coordinate with development, DBA, and infrastructure teams
  • Ensure

    SLA compliance

    and follow operational runbooks
  • Participate in

    shift-based / on-call support

  • Maintain

    support documentation and knowledge base articles

Required Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience in

    Oracle PL/SQL Application Support

  • Strong hands-on experience with

    SQL querying and data validation

  • Ability to

    read and analyze PL/SQL code

    (no development required)
  • Experience in

    L2/L3 production support environments

  • Knowledge of

    Incident, Problem, and Change Management

  • Experience with

    ITSM tools

    (ServiceNow / Jira / Remedy)
  • Basic knowledge of

    Unix/Linux commands

Good to Have:

  • Experience in

    Banking, Insurance, Telecom, or Retail domains

  • Exposure to

    batch processing and ETL support

  • Knowledge of

    ITIL framework

  • Experience in

    24x7 global support environments

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience
