PL/SQL Developer

As a PL/SQL Developer at our company, your role will involve developing, testing, and maintaining complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for data processing and ETL tasks. You will be responsible for designing and implementing database schemas and objects, optimizing SQL queries and database performance, and creating migration scripts for data transfer between systems. Additionally, you will analyze business requirements, provide technical support for production systems, and document technical specifications for scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for data processing and ETL tasks. - Design and implement database schemas and objects such as tables, indexes, and views. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using PL/SQL. - Optimize SQL queries and database performance for high efficiency. - Perform data analysis to support report generation and modify existing reports as needed. - Develop migration scripts for data transfer between systems. - Ensure compliance with security standards to protect sensitive data. - Provide technical support for production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. - Document technical specifications and create reusable code for scalability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience (3.5 to 4+ years) in Oracle PL/SQL development. Required Skills: Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming with experience in developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers. - Strong understanding of relational database concepts (RDBMS) and performance tuning techniques. - Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse integration. - Knowledge of advanced PL/SQL features like collections, ref cursors, dynamic SQL, and materialized views. - Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, Toad, or similar IDEs. - Exposure to Unix/Linux scripting is a plus.
