PLC/DCS Programmer Engineer, E&I

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric. - Develop Logic Block Diagrams and Function design specifications. - Document control system architecture, programming logic, and cybersecurity protocols. - Submit cybersecurity-relevant documentation for PLC/DCS systems in the client's specified format. - Troubleshoot and maintain existing PLC systems and HMI/SCADA interfaces. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with mechanical and electrical components. - Conduct risk assessments and implement cybersecurity best practices in control systems. - Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC 62443. - Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats in industrial control environments. - Support commissioning and testing of control systems at client sites. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with PLC platforms like Siemens S7, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi. - Solid understanding of industrial network protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP. - Awareness of cybersecurity principles and experience applying them in OT environments. - Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and secure remote access in industrial settings. - Experience in cybersecurity at a basic level in the domain of PLC/DCS/ICSS networking. - Experience with SCADA systems and industrial IoT. - Knowledge of safety systems, SIL study & calculation, and functional safety standards like SIL, ISO 13849. - Experience in regulated industries such as industrial water projects & manufacturing.
