You have a unique opportunity to join CECO Environmental as a Mechanical Engineer based in Pune, India. Your role will involve designing static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, filters, and separators using PVElite software. You will be responsible for preparing datasheets, material requisitions, technical queries, and bid evaluations. Coordination across disciplines and a strong understanding of ASME materials will be essential for success in this role. Key responsibilities will include participating in project kick-off meetings, preparing equipment datasheets, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, issuing material requisitions, evaluating vendor offers, and reviewing vendor documentation. You will also interact with clients for document approvals and support proposals for technical reviews and costing. To excel in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Knowledge of pumps, blowers, materials, and testing requirements will be advantageous. Proficiency in software such as PV Elite and Nozzle Pro is required. You will work in a professional corporate office setting with regular on-site presence during standard business hours, occasional domestic and international travel may be required. Understanding international codes and standards like ASME Section VIII Division 1/2 and TEMA is crucial. You should be able to collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines, projects, and client teams. Compliance with global and Indian regulatory requirements applicable to executive positions is mandatory.
