The Senior Engineer -Customer Service position at Coperion involves reporting to the General Manager - Customer Service and requires a qualified Diploma/ bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualifications in mechanical engineering. Preference is given to candidates with experience in Gear box overhauling, specifically in brands such as Flender, Renk, Shanthi gears, Triveni, Helicon, Precision Gears, and Powder built gears. Additionally, experience in rotating equipment such as Extruder Maintenance Blower, Compressor, Dryers is desired. The role entails resolving client problems, monitoring customer accounts, and managing time effectively to meet deadlines. Responsibilities include providing on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of Equipments like extruders and PCS systems, performing hands-on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs, as well as providing technical support and training to external customers. The position may require travel within India and internationally for Extruder overhauling jobs, in collaboration with the Service group based in Coperion, Stuttgart, Germany. Interaction with cross-functional teams and the development of service technical documentation are also part of the job scope.
