PLC Subject Matter Expert (SME)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Advanced programming of Rockwell PLC Family. Development and modification of PLC HMI Displays. Experience in the use of Rockwell Asset Central. Develop and maintain documentation for PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and control system architecture. Integrate PLCs with MES, SCADA, and IoT platforms for real-time data acquisition and control. Support firmware upgrades, backups, and cybersecurity compliance for control systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation improvements and digital transformation initiatives. Lead diagnostics, root cause analysis, and resolution of PLC and automation-related issues. Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.) for manufacturing operations.Minimum Experience:• 4-6 years of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, and control systems.• Expertise in Rockwell Automation, Siemens S7, and SCADA platforms (FactoryTalk, WinCC).• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC).• Experience with MES integration, HMI development, and safety systems.• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards for industrial control systems.Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional automation projects. Agile mindset with focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
