Job Summary: The PLC Programmer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining control systems for roll forming machines and associated automation equipment. The role involves programming PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers, troubleshooting automation systems, and ensuring optimal machine performance to support efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and modify PLC programs (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi / Delta or equivalent) for roll forming machines and auxiliary systems.

• Configure and integrate HMI/SCADA systems for machine operation and monitoring.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, sensors, actuators, drives, and other control components.

• Work closely with mechanical and electrical design teams to ensure synchronization between hardware and software systems.

• Conduct testing, commissioning, and validation of new or upgraded control systems.

• Maintain detailed documentation of control logic, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.

• Implement automation improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and reliability.

• Support preventive maintenance and provide technical training to maintenance and production teams.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, preferably in a roll forming or metal processing industry.

• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, motion control, sensors, and VFDs.

• Proficiency in PLC software such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley RSLogix, or Mitsubishi GX Works.

• Familiarity with HMI programming (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Delta DOPSoft, or similar).

• Understanding of control panel wiring, electrical drawings, and safety circuits.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: As per industry standards / Based on experience.

Reporting To: Manager – Automation / Engineering Head

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,421.80 - ₹51,309.22 per month
