Job Title: PLC Programmer

Job Location: Bangalore - Karnataka

Job Type: Permanent/Full Time

Department: Research & Development

Working days: 6 days

Required experience: 3-5 years

1. Awareness of Any PLC

2. Awareness of PPC

3. Awareness on SCADA-Development

4. Awareness about Physical Connectivity on Panels

5. Awareness of Cable Color-Coding

6. The Idea about Switches, Computers, Printers

7. Documentation Skills

8. Good reporting Skills

9. Good Skill-Set in Mailing and Verbal Communications

10.Good Team Work in a Timely Manner.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement control logic for renewable plant operations, ensuring grid compliance.

2. Design, program, and commission PLC systems for inverters, trackers, and plant equipment.

3. Configure PID controllers for active/reactive power, voltage, frequency, and ramp-rate control.

4. Perform FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning of plant control systems.

5. Troubleshoot and optimize PLC/PPC logic to minimize downtime.

6. Proficient in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.

7. Strong knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, IEC, DNP3) and SCADA systems.

8. Solid understanding of electrical control systems, grid codes (IEEE, IEC, CEA), and renewable plant operations (Solar/Wind/BESS).

9. Hands-on experience (2+ Years) in PLC programming and renewable power plant operations.

10.Familiarity with solar PV components inverters, trackers, and switchgear.

Technical Competencies:

1. Electrical Design Understanding

2. Knowledge of Electrical Products.

3. Proficient in Office 365

4. Quick Learning Skills of Project Requirements.

5. Understanding of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test). Ip configuration.

6. IO Loop Test & Functional Test

7. Awareness on IEC-61850, IEC-101 and IEC-104

8. Awareness on MODBUS-RTU, Modbus-TCP/IP and Other Industrial Protocols.
