PLC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to lead the automation of our surface grinding machine using a Delta Servo System. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PLC programming, motion control, and servo motor integration for industrial machinery—particularly in grinding or machining applications. --- Key Responsibilities: Design and implement PLC logic for automating surface grinding machine functions. Integrate and configure Delta servo drives and motors for precision motion control. Develop HMI interface for operator control and monitoring. Optimize grinding cycle with programmable feed, travel, and return operations. Ensure safety interlocks and emergency protocols are in place. Test, troubleshoot, and refine the system on-site. --- Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience in Delta PLCs (DVP Series) and Delta servo systems (ASDA-A2/A3). Proficiency in ladder logic and structured programming. Hands-on experience with surface grinding or machining automation is preferred. Familiarity with HMI programming (Delta DOPSoft or similar). Knowledge of industrial sensors, limit switches, and feedback systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Self-motivated with problem-solving skills and attention to detail. --- Optional but Valuable: Experience with VFDs, CNC retrofitting, or motion controllers. Basic mechanical knowledge of surface grinders. Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 1 week Pay: ₹11,904.97 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
