PCB Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PCB Technician with experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic controller boards, specifically the DX48 controller used in surface grinding machines. The role involves fault-finding at the component level, testing, and restoring functionality of existing control boards. --- Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair the DX48 controller PCB. Identify faulty components (ICs, capacitors, resistors, etc.) and replace them using proper soldering techniques. Perform continuity tests, signal tracing, and functional tests. Work with minimal documentation or schematics, if necessary. Coordinate with the machine operator or automation engineer to validate controller performance. Ensure all repairs are clean, reliable, and meet industrial safety standards. --- Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in PCB repair and rework, preferably in industrial machine controllers. Expertise in through-hole and SMD soldering. Ability to read and interpret basic circuit diagrams and test points. Experience working with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering stations. Good understanding of power electronics and microcontroller circuits. --- Preferred: Prior experience with grinding machine controllers or similar industrial equipment.
