About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated

PLC Engineer

to join our team in Chennai. This role involves programming and integrating

Siemens and Delta PLCs

to operate advanced

Flowmeter and Water Meter test benches

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with instrumentation, feedback systems, and a passion for automation and control engineering. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our calibration systems are precise, reliable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using Siemens and Delta platforms

Automate the operation of test benches for flow meters and water meters in semi-automatic and fully automatic modes

Integrate various components such as valves, pumps, VFDs, sensors, and flow meters into the control system

Create and modify HMI interfaces for operator interaction

Ensure accurate data logging and real-time system feedback integration

Troubleshoot, test, and optimize PLC programs for operational efficiency

Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical and mechanical engineers

Maintain system documentation and contribute to design improvements

Requirements

Bachelor s degree or Diploma in ECE, EIE, Mechanical, or EEE

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Siemens and/or Delta PLCs

Strong understanding of instrumentation and industrial control systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HMI design and development

Familiarity with National Instruments (NI) hardware and LabVIEW programming

Basic understanding of SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS)

Experience working with flow meters and calibration test benches
