The PLC Engineer will be responsible for PLC programming, troubleshooting, machine automation support, and commissioning in production environments. The role includes preventive maintenance, debugging automation tools, and ensuring machine supportability across all sites.
- Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Allen Bradley).
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of automation machines.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on PLC-controlled systems.x`
- Ensure Preventive Maintenance activities are completed as per schedule.
- Support machine bring-up, calibration, and line integration activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams for integration of PLC, Robots, IPC, Motion Control & Vision systems.
- Support multi-axis motion systems, servo drives, linear motors, and PID tuning.
- Provide technical support whenever required from any site.
- Train new engineers for L3 certification level.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic.
- Understanding of electrical schematics & industrial circuits.
- Basic understanding of servo motors, motion control, and HMI systems.
- Experience with commissioning automation equipment.
- Knowledge of sensors, safety circuits, and control panels.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple sites.
