Job Description

Deputy Manager PLC

Lead or assist in cold and hot commissioning of PLC-based control systems.
Verify I/O mapping, perform loop checks, and coordinate with instrumentation and electrical teams for integration.
Conduct SATs (Site Acceptance Tests), FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), and logic validation.
Modify and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens) during commissioning.
Work with SCADA/HMI teams for system integration and interface testing.
Support tuning of control loops and resolution of control system issues during startup.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure aligned commissioning efforts.
Interface with vendors, system integrators, and client representatives for technical support and compliance.
Ensure all PLC and control commissioning activities follow HSE standards and permit-to-work procedures.
Participate in control system risk assessments (e.g., SIL checks, ESD system testing).
Ensure electrical isolation and safe energization of control cabinets and systems.
Maintain detailed records of test results, modifications, and commissioning logs.
Review and sign off on control system commissioning documentation and as-built drawings.
Prepare reports on commissioning progress, issues, and handover status.

Education:

Bachelors degree in engineering Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering

Experience :

Total 7-9 years Min 2 years recent exp in highly automated manufacturing industry Strong hands-on experience with Siemens PLC
