As a Playwright Automation Engineer at MSBC, you will leverage your expertise in front-end and API test automation to ensure the quality and reliability of React-based applications. With 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated test cases using Playwright with TypeScript for UI and API layers. Your responsibilities will include designing robust automation frameworks, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers to troubleshoot test failures and ensure best practices in automation development. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for React applications using Playwright with TypeScript. - Develop and maintain API test suites using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Integrate UI and API test automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions. - Establish front-end automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Translate functional requirements into efficient test scenarios and participate in Agile ceremonies. - Support AWS-based infrastructure testing and deployment if needed. - Contribute to performance or visual regression testing initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing with a focus on UI and API validation. - Expertise in Playwright and TypeScript for front-end automation. - Proficient in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong understanding of React application structures, DOM manipulation, and component interaction. - Working knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and BDD/TDD methodologies. - Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and debugging skills. - Familiarity with AWS services in testing or deployment contexts. - Experience with performance testing or visual regression testing tools. - Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker.
