Platform Engineering Manager

As a Platform Engineering Manager at StarRez, you will play a crucial role in leading a high-performing team responsible for the performance and reliability of our SaaS products. Your main responsibilities will include: - Building, managing, and mentoring a top-tier Platform Engineering team, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture - Ensuring timely delivery of projects in alignment with Product and Technology Roadmaps - Providing coaching, training, and career development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance - Leading technical discussions and mentoring team members through knowledge sharing sessions and code reviews - Translating complex business problems into technical solutions and contributing to Product & Technology roadmaps - Implementing and maintaining monitoring/alerting/logging systems for incident response - Participating in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and on-call rotations for system reliability - Collaborating with product engineering teams to design and build scalable software solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field - Recent and proficient experience in C#/.NET development - 3+ years of experience leading Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering teams - 8+ years of experience in C#/.NET development - 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS platform in a leadership capacity - Proficiency with public cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP - Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities - Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in cloud platforms and DevOps practices are a plus - Experience in database management and performance tuning, particularly MSSQL - Familiarity with frontend technologies like React If you are passionate about driving innovation in a collaborative environment and possess the required skills and mindset, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at StarRez India.
