The ideal candidate will seamlessly play a dual role of individual contributor (as a coder) as well as team mentor and manager , balancing delivery, people growth, and technical depth. The candidate will lead a team of engineers working across Java (Spring Boot), React, and Python microservices. This role requires strong expertise in Product development practices , deep hands-on experience with Java, React and Python , and a thorough understanding of IT security and high volume computing architectures . Key Responsibilities: Lead engineering delivery for product features and releases. Manage and mentor the software engineering team (career discussions, 1:1s, hiring, onboarding). Contribute directly to codebase (~40%-50% time) on critical features and complex integrations. Drive code quality via reviews, architecture guidance, security guidance and knowledge-sharing. Ensure delivery predictability by coordinating with QA, Platform Engineering, and Data/ETL team. Balance SaaS and Managed SaaS deployment demands, working with DevOps/Platform team.
