Platform Architect

As an experienced Solution Architect with over 15 years of experience in a large IT organization and a strong background in insurance, you will be responsible for creating target solution architectures for modernization and transformation initiatives involving core insurance platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with Business and IT stakeholders to gain approvals for proposed architectures, designing cost-effective solutions that align with key business requirements and timelines, and selecting and optimizing cloud services (preferably AWS) as needed. You will work closely with various IT teams to ensure the proposed designs are implemented without deviations. Additionally, you will be accountable for addressing any technical impediments that may arise and responding to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. Experience with Policy admin systems, Ingenium, and leading modernization and digital transformation projects will be highly advantageous. Your responsibilities will also include integrating on-premise applications with cloud infrastructure, understanding security requirements and infrastructure design, and leveraging Agile methodologies for development with frequent sprints to realize business benefits. You should have a proven track record of leading the design and/or development of solutions with virtual teams in remote locations and possess a strong appreciation for selecting appropriate tools for platform delivery. Knowledge of the Financial Services industry at the regional level, particularly in Individual Life, Asset Management, Pension, and Group Business, is preferred. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will be essential in engaging in conversations at all levels of senior management.
