Solution Architecture Platform ReviewReview and validate solution architectures (HLD\/LLD) that interact with enterprise platforms (Core banking, payments, integration, CRM, ERP, cloud, data, DevOps).Ensure application and solution designs leverage platforms in a standardized, secure, and optimized manner.Provide recommendations to build robust, scalable, and reusable platform services for the bank.2. Platform Architecture GovernanceRepresent the platform domain in Enterprise Architecture Design Authority (EADA) or equivalent forums.Define and enforce standards, frameworks, and reference models for enterprise platforms.Govern platform usage across lines of business to prevent duplication, fragmentation, or shadow IT.3. Platform Design Best PracticesDefine reference platform architectures for integration, payments, data, CRM, ERP, DevOps, or cloud adoption.Recommend design patterns for:API management and service exposureEvent-driven and streaming architecturesShared security services (IAM, encryption, SSO)Reusable platform services for onboarding, payments, KYC, and reportingGuide teams in migrating legacy applications to leverage modern enterprise platforms.4. Security Compliance in PlatformsEnsure platforms are designed with security-by-design principles (authentication, authorization, data protection).Validate adherence to banking regulations and standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, PSD2, Central Bank mandates).Identify platform risks (data leakage, weak integration, inconsistent access control) and recommend mitigations.5. Operational Resilience PerformanceEnsure platforms support resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery (DR\/BCP).Recommend strategies for scalability, load balancing, and fault tolerance in platform design.Drive observability and monitoring (logs, metrics, alerts) across all platforms.6. Collaboration Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with solution architects, application teams, integration architects, and infrastructure\/security teams to ensure seamless platform adoption.Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership on how platforms enable agility and innovation.Drive alignment across projects so all applications use common platform services instead of reinventing them.7. Innovation Continuous ImprovementEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies (low-code platforms, API monetization, Crypto, blockchain payments, AI-powered CRM\/ERP extensions).Benchmark platform usage and recommend improvements in cost, performance, and resilience.Continuously update the Enterprise Platform Repository with standards, reusable assets, and lessons learned.8. Design end-to-end solution architectures for banking applications, ensuring alignment with business goals, enterprise architecture standards, and technology strategy.9. Evaluate and recommend appropriate architecture patterns, tools, and platforms for new and existing solutions.10.Create architecture artifacts such as solution blueprints, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration designs, and interface contracts.11.Work with cross-functional teams including business, development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions.12.Translate business requirements into scalable and modular solution designs. Create detailed solution architecture documents including logical, physical, integration, and deployment views.13.Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability, scalability) are properly addressed.14.Review document, if proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to validate emerging technologies or solution approaches.15.Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure that the solution architecture supports continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI\/CD).16.Address security aspects such as data encryption, access control, and identity management in the architecture.17.Present architecture proposals and review outcomes to architecture governance boards and executive stakeholders.18.Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle.19.Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing applications, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.20.Capture and document architecture decisions made during critical meetings, workshops, and design discussions.KEY RESULT AREA:Explore recommend new technologies supporting Cloud, On Prem ApplicationsPresent Solution designs and seek approval in Architecture review boardsShould be strong in solution design.Conduct and drive POCs.Derive Blueprints, High Level Design (HLD) and Notings to SolutionsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are preferred.PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech.Prior experience in large-scale banking transformation or modernization programs.REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE:10 to 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect for large-scale enterprise systems.Proven experience in banking and financial services, particularly in areas such as Core Banking, Payments, Digital Banking, Lending, and Channels.Strong understanding of banking business processes and compliance requirements.Hands-on experience in designing solutions using integration tools (e.g., IBM Integration Bus IBM API Gateway) and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka, MQ).Familiarity with security protocols and data protection standards in banking environments (e.g., OAuth2, TLS, PKI, DLP).Cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS,or GCP) with hybrid integration knowledge.Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI\/CD, microservices, and containerization (Docker\/Kubernetes).Familiar with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or BIAN.
