Plastic Technologist – Granulation & Recycling Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Technologist with a strong foundation in plastic recycling and granulation. The selected candidate will lead the end-to-end evaluation of customer requirements, ensure granule quality through in-house testing, and drive process improvements in reprocessing — all while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with end-users to understand detailed specifications related to plastic properties.
• Conduct suitability testing of recycled granules before offering them for application use.
• Drive granulation process optimization, including shredding, extrusion, filtration, and pelletizing.
• Ensure granule consistency in terms of MFI, color, tensile strength, and contamination control.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with recycled plastic content regulations and other sustainability mandates.
• Maintain thorough documentation of process parameters, compliance records, and test outcomes.
• Coordinate with production, QA, and R&D to align reprocessed material performance with final product requirements.

Education:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Plastics Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Chemical Engineering

• A Master’s in Polymer Science / Material Science is an added advantage.Experience Required:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
• Plastic recycling plants
• Companies using recycled plastic in packaging or product manufacturing
• Proven expertise in granulation processes and polymer testing techniques
• Strong understanding of regulatory norms related to recycled plastics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,546,613.27 - ₹2,468,041.53 per year
