Plant Supervisor (Manufacturing)

The role of a Production Supervisor involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor. You will be responsible for assigning tasks and managing shift schedules for production workers. Monitoring production processes to ensure targets are met and adjusting schedules as necessary will be a key part of your responsibilities. It is crucial to ensure that products are manufactured on time and meet the required quality standards. Maintaining accurate documentation and production records is essential for the smooth functioning of operations. In case of any production issues, troubleshooting efficiently and resolving them promptly is necessary. Upholding health and safety regulations and promoting a clean work environment are vital aspects of this role. Collaboration with maintenance, quality, and supply chain departments is essential for seamless operations. Additionally, training, guiding, and evaluating the performance of production staff will be part of your duties. Implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the manufacturing industry is required. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for this role. Proficiency in production planning and knowledge of quality standards are necessary. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety protocols is also crucial. Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and basic computer knowledge are desirable attributes.
