PLANT MANAGER

As an incumbent reporting to the VP of Operations, your role will involve assisting in the design, analysis, and implementation of manufacturing projects to align with corporate goals. You will support licensees/franchises with process design, improvements, personnel training, and start-up activities. Additionally, you will provide backup to the Production Manager and Production Supervisor in the Mill. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and enhancing the efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through observations, measurements, data collection, and interpretation. - Collaborating with external contractors and manufacturing personnel to coordinate the installation of new equipment and other projects. - Implementing new equipment and processes within specified timelines and budgets. - Providing direction and support to personnel during the implementation of manufacturing projects. - Offering technical support to international and domestic customers through various communication channels. You will also be responsible for: - Directing maintenance workers to ensure accurate and timely task performance. - Providing recommendations for the selection of manufacturing equipment and contributing significantly to purchasing decisions. - Conducting written reviews and audits of Zeigler franchises. - Being a part of the Operations Leadership Team. In terms of qualifications, you should have: - High School Diploma or equivalent education. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the feed manufacturing business with broad knowledge of manufacturing methods and production planning. - Proficiency in Microsoft Operating System and basic quality concepts. - Good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Mechanical Aptitude and previous supervisory experience would be beneficial. - Ability to promote a team environment and cooperation to meet manufacturing objectives. Certification requirements include: - Certified to operate a forklift or willingness to undergo training. Your role involves supervising Maintenance workers and working in adverse conditions that may include exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold. Physical efforts such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 Kgs are expected. Overtime work may be required based on production needs.,
