PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the total activities of the mill production department, ensuring efficient manufacturing of products that meet QA standards. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for manufacturing diets according to schedule, categorizing orders, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping accurate production records. Additionally, you will provide orientation and training to new employees, cross-train existing staff, enforce safety policies, and report inventory levels to the Production Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the manufacturing of products in the mill production department - Ensure products meet quality assurance standards - Manufacture diets according to schedule - Categorize orders and maintain inventory levels - Keep accurate production records - Provide orientation and training to new employees - Cross-train existing staff - Enforce safety policies - Report inventory levels to the Production Manager Qualifications Required: - High School Diploma or GED - Ability to read and write English - 2-3 years of experience in Mill Operations - Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude - Good communication abilities - Certification to operate a forklift or willingness to undergo training In this supervisory position, you will provide guidance, leadership, and training to other employees. Working conditions include exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold, as well as potentially hazardous machinery. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, and lift at least 25 Kgs continuously. You must also pass a pre-employment physical and drug-alcohol screening and be prepared for extensive hours and potential overtime based on production needs.,
