PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the total activities of the mill production department, ensuring efficient manufacturing of products that meet QA standards. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for manufacturing diets according to schedule, categorizing orders, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping accurate production records. Additionally, you will provide orientation and training to new employees, cross-train existing staff, enforce safety policies, and report inventory levels to the Production Manager. As the Production Supervisor, you must possess a High School Diploma or GED, be able to read and write English, and have 2-3 years of experience in Mill Operations. Problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and good communication abilities are essential for this role. Certification to operate a forklift or willingness to undergo training is required. In this supervisory position, you will provide guidance, leadership, and training to other employees. Working conditions include exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold, as well as potentially hazardous machinery. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, and lift at least 25 Kgs continuously. You must also pass a pre-employment physical and drug-alcohol screening and be prepared for extensive hours and potential overtime based on production needs.,
