As an incumbent reporting to the VP of Operations, your role will involve assisting in the design, analysis, and implementation of manufacturing projects to align with corporate goals. You will support licensees/franchises with process design, improvements, personnel training, and start-up activities. Additionally, you will provide backup to the Production Manager and Production Supervisor in the Mill. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and enhancing the efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through observations, measurements, data collection, and interpretation. - Collaborating with external contractors and manufacturing personnel to coordinate the installation of new equipment and other projects. - Implementing new equipment and processes within specified timelines and budgets. - Providing direction and support to personnel during the implementation of manufacturing projects. - Offering technical support to international and domestic customers through various communication channels.
