Plant Maintenance Engineer Manager &Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Engineering Operations

• Plan, organize, and oversee

  preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance

   for plant utilities, production equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure

  maximum uptime

   of manufacturing equipment with minimal downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage

  shutdowns, turnarounds, and annual maintenance planning

  .

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with

  cGMP, WHO, USFDA, EU-GMP

  , and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Support regulatory audits, inspections, and internal audits related to engineering and maintenance.
• Ensure proper documentation including SOPs, logbooks, maintenance records, and validation support documents.

Utilities & Facilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of utilities such as

  HVAC, water systems (PW, WFI), steam, compressed air, electrical systems, boilers, chillers

  , and facility services.
• Ensure utilities meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Allocate resources effectively and ensure skill development through training and performance management.
• Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Project & Cost Management

• Lead and support

  engineering projects

  , equipment installation, upgrades, and capacity expansions.
• Prepare and manage

  maintenance budgets

  , control costs, and optimize spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

Safety & EHS

• Ensure adherence to

  EHS policies

  , safe work practices, and statutory requirements.
• Promote proactive safety culture and conduct risk assessments and safety audits.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  pharmaceutical plant maintenance and utilities

• Hands-on experience with

  GMP-compliant engineering systems

• Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Project management and cost control abilities
• Familiarity with CMMS, SAP PM, or similar maintenance management systems
