Plant Inspector

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Monitoring / Plant Inspector professional for our facility in Nagothane, Raigad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and processes by conducting routine inspections, monitoring, and reporting any abnormalities or issues.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor all plant operations and equipment during the assigned shift.

· Read and record pressure gauges and other relevant instrumentation at regular intervals.

· Conduct quality checks of processes, materials, and finished products as per company guidelines.

· Identify and inspect for leakages, pressure drops, or other anomalies in the plant equipment and report findings promptly.

· Report any abnormal conditions, safety hazards, or incidents to the plant supervisor/manager without delay.

· Maintain logs and records of inspections, readings, and quality checks carried out during the shift.

· Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental protocols during operations.

· Support in preventive maintenance and shutdown activities as needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

· Thorough understanding of plant operations and safety practices.

· Strong observation skills to detect potential leaks, pressure changes, or abnormal plant conditions.

· Ability to read and interpret gauges, dials, and instruments accurately.

· Basic knowledge of quality control and assurance processes.

· Effective verbal and written communication for timely and clear reporting.

· Problem-solving attitude and readiness to act in emergency situations.

· Team player with a proactive approach to plant safety and performance improvements.

Eligibility Criteria

· 2–3 years of experience in plant operations, inspection, or monitoring in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

· Educational qualification: BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

· Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, possibly including nights and weekends.

· Candidates must be able to relocate or commute to Nagothane, Raigad, Maharashtra.
