Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager / Dy Manager to oversee statutory compliance, labour law adherence, and government liaison activities for our manufacturing operations at Sri City

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of labour regulations, factory acts, and statutory frameworks, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Telugu (reading and writing).

This role also involves building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, government bodies, and local authorities to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws, factory acts, and statutory regulations.

Handle PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory filings and documentation.

Liaise with government departments, labour offices, and external agencies for inspections, audits, and approvals.

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of statutory returns and reports.

Draft, translate, and issue official communications and documents in Telugu and English.

Manage and maintain harmonious labour relations with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure timely resolution of employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and industrial relations issues.

Design and implement strategies to build a sustainable Blue Collar to White Collar (BC to WC) talent pipeline.

Coordinate with legal and finance teams for statutory audits and risk mitigation.

Conduct awareness sessions for employees on statutory rights and responsibilities.

Support HR operations including employee relations, compliance reporting, and audit readiness.

Build rapport with local authorities and community representatives to strengthen organizational relations.

Preferred candidate profile

Full time Masters Degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field (MSW-HRM / MLM / MBA preferred).

812 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on statutory compliance, liaisoning, and industrial relationspreferably in the manufacturing sector.

Strong command of Telugu (reading and writing) and English; knowledge of Tamil and Hindi is an added advantage.

In-depth understanding of labour laws, IR practices, and statutory compliance frameworks.

Experience handling government audits and inspections.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.

Willingness to travel to government offices, labour departments, and plant locations as required.
