Plant Engineer

As a Plant Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, install, and maintain the systems, processes, and equipment within the plant or facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the plant while meeting production goals. One of your key duties will be to focus on improving plant reliability by utilizing asset management methodologies and identifying root causes of downtime. You will be involved in implementing preventative maintenance programs to enhance plant reliability and availability. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure optimal functionality. This includes performing repairs, maintenance, and overseeing the operation of utilities such as steam and power generation equipment. Your role will also involve optimizing plant operations to reduce operational costs and improve productivity. Collaboration with other teams to address technical issues and implement safety measures will be essential. As a Plant Engineer, you may be required to participate in planning and executing projects aimed at upgrading or expanding plant facilities. You will also be responsible for establishing standards and policies related to installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance.
