Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to oversee the entire operation and maintenance of our dyeing plant. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of plant machinery and utility systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the plant, particularly dyeing machines and support equipment Handle PLC-controlled systems, programming, and troubleshooting Oversee pneumatic valve functionality and system automation Supervise and operate coal-fired and steam boilers, and thermic fluid heaters Execute preventive maintenance plans and minimize downtime Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards Lead and mentor the technical team to ensure smooth plant functioning Monitor utility usage and implement efficiency-improvement measures Qualifications: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering fields Minimum 10 years of experience in a plant/maintenance role (preferably in textiles) Required Skills: Expertise in plant machinery and dyeing operations Strong knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, and boiler operations Familiarity with thermic fluid systems Good communication in Tamil, English, and Malayalam Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Added Advantage: Experience in the textile dyeing sector Understanding of energy conservation and cost-effective plant management Ability to lead maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhauls ETP & RO functions ATFD Location: Palakkad, Kerala To Apply: Interested candidates can send their updated resume to generalmanager@augustanindia.com, hradmin@augustanindia.com or contact : 8072270959,9447363706 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
