Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to oversee the entire operation and maintenance of our dyeing plant. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of plant machinery and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the plant, particularly dyeing machines and support equipment
• Handle PLC-controlled systems, programming, and troubleshooting
• Oversee pneumatic valve functionality and system automation
• Supervise and operate coal-fired and steam boilers, and thermic fluid heaters
• Execute preventive maintenance plans and minimize downtime
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Lead and mentor the technical team to ensure smooth plant functioning
• Monitor utility usage and implement efficiency-improvement measures

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering fields
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a plant/maintenance role (preferably in textiles)

Required Skills:

• Expertise in plant machinery and dyeing operations
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, and boiler operations
• Familiarity with thermic fluid systems
• Good communication in Tamil, English, and Malayalam
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Experience in the textile dyeing sector
• Understanding of energy conservation and cost-effective plant management
• Ability to lead maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhauls
• ETP & RO functions
• ATFD
