Plant design Specialist

Key Responsiblities

1. 2D drafting (Medusa+EB) and 3D Modelling (Medusa) of equipment and overall plant layout

2. Preparation of project drawings such as P&I diagram, General Arrangement drawings, Foundation-plan, Manufacturing and Detail drawings. Also drafting of various machined parts and fabricated components (viz: Fabricated Skids / Baseframe / Platforms)

3. Preparing piping isometric drawings (Pipe-rack) and steel structure (Skid or Pipe support) with Bill of Materials.

4. Assign / implement - the piping material specification (PMS) and material grades in the software.

5. To follow the project schedule in alignment with Team Lead CAD/Plant Design Specialist

6. To support relavant project meetings on need basis ( OTM, 3D model review).

7. Co-ordinate with requestor to finalize drawing in alignment with Team Lead CAD/PDS.

Qualification

1. BE/DME with min. 2-5 years of experience

2. Skills: Sound knowledge of any CAD and 3D modelling or plant design software (PDS) (Medusa preferred).

3. Knowledge of common international standards used like ASME, ANSI, ASTM, DIN etc.

4. Conversant to manufacturing and assembly drawings, General Arrangement of layouts, P&ID, schematic diagram and symbology, Isometric drawings, GD&T.

5. Business fluency in English (oral and written)

6. Compressor background for plant/package layout would be preferred
