ENGINEER - PLANNING & ESTIMATION ( ELECTRICAL) Education : DEGREE/DIPLOMA –ELECTRICAL Job Description / Responsibilities : Ø Evaluating tender documents, drawings, schedules. Ø Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers. Ø Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations. Ø Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product. Ø Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records. Ø Pricing for electrical / mechanical systems Ø Assisting in compiling of tenders. Ø Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires. Ø Preparing purchase orders, AMC, Contract, Agreements & Work Order and placing same to suppliers & contactors. Ø Vendor development, monitor new suppliers/vendors for quotation. Preparation of payment advice and follow up with accounts department on a regular basis for release of payments. Desired profile of the candidate : The candidate should possess good innovative, analytical & negotiating skills apart from good communication skills to interact with various vendors, suppliers, clients & consultants. The Candidate should be result oriented and should have the ability to lead, Manage and influence vendors, clients & consultants in getting the materials at the best quality & price for betterment of our organization. Also, Interested to handle sub-contracting Jobs will be added advantage.
