Planning Development Resource

L1 Development Resource responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining planning

applications and data engineering solutions for Landmark. This includes SQL-based

development, automation, and integration with modern data platforms and AI readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to arrive at a technical solution

plan.

• Develop procedures, functions, scripts using MS SQL Server and Windows batch

scripting.

• Perform unit testing to validate functionality and performance of developed modules.

• Coordinate with support teams to resolve issues and provide clarifications.

• Interact with business stakeholders to understand end-user expectations.

• Maintain documentation for developed solutions including support documents, test

results, and SOPs.

• Design and implement ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.

• Develop Power BI dashboards for planning analytics and reporting.

• Enable AI readiness by structuring data pipelines for predictive modeling and

automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-8 years of experience in MS SQL Server and Windows batch scripting.

• Strong SQL/PL-SQL knowledge and experience in writing optimized queries and

procedures.

• Experience in designing and managing ETL pipelines and data workflows.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data integration tools.

• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

• Understanding of AI concepts and ability to prepare data for machine learning models.

• Candidate should have worked in retail domain for at least 3-4 years.

• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.

• Candidate should have exposure to at least one Planning tool (Onebeat, Vector, SAP

Planning, etc.)

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

• Microsoft Certified: AI Engineer Associate
