Placement Officer

The Placement Officer is responsible for managing all activities related to student placement, alumni re-placement, and maintaining employer relations. The role involves coordinating with companies for generating placement opportunities, handling placement documentation, and building strong relationships with students, alumni, and corporate partners to ensure successful job outcomes for students who have completed our IT career programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Placement:
• Ensure timely placement of students who have successfully completed career programs from the institute.
• Track students' progress and readiness for placement and coordinate interview schedules.
• Alumni Replacement:
• Support and assist alumni seeking better job opportunities or re-placement.
• Maintain updated records of alumni employment and career progression.
• Company Outreach & Relationship Management:
• Identify and connect with new companies to generate job openings suitable for the institute’s students.
• Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing corporate partners and recruitment agencies.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with companies for feedback and future opportunities.
• Placement Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student placements, job openings, interviews, and employer feedback.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on placement activities and success rates.
• Student Engagement:
• Build and maintain rapport with current students to understand their career aspirations and prepare them for interviews.
• Conduct placement-related sessions including soft skills training, resume building, and interview preparation in coordination with trainers.
• Alumni Relations:
• Engage with alumni regularly to stay updated on their career paths and encourage participation in institute activities like mentoring or referrals.
• Maintain an organized alumni database.
• Collaboration with Admissions:
• Share placement success stories and data with the admissions team to support promotional and enrollment activities.
• Participate in seminars or webinars to share placement outcomes with prospective students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
