Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Placement Officer to facilitate career opportunities for students enrolled in our Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in career services, a deep understanding of the tech industry, and a passion for helping students achieve their professional goals.

Key Responsibilities

Career Development Support:

Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students regarding career options, resume building, and interview preparation.

Develop and deliver workshops and seminars focused on job searching strategies, networking, and industry trends.

Employer Engagement:

Establish and maintain relationships with companies in the cybersecurity and AI sectors to create job placement opportunities.

Organize job fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events to connect students with potential employers.

Job Matching:

Assess student skills and interests to effectively match them with job openings.

Collaborate with academic staff to understand curriculum changes and align them with industry needs.

Data Management:

Stay informed about developments in the cybersecurity and AI & ML fields to provide relevant guidance to students.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance personal effectiveness and industry knowledge.

Education:

A background in technology or cybersecurity

Experience:

Minimum of [1years] experience in career services, recruitment, or a related field, preferably within the tech sector.

Familiarity with the cybersecurity and AI & ML industries is highly desirable.
