About the Role

Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM)

hands-on, customer-facing technical role

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Operations

• Provide technical support and operational assistance for:
  
• SSL/TLS certificate issuance, renewal, and replacement
  
• Certificate lifecycle management using CLM platforms
  
• Support enterprise customers using

  Public Certificate Authorities

  and

  Private CA infrastructures

Certificate Lifecycle Management

• Assist customers with end-to-end certificate lifecycle operations, including:
  
• CSR generation
  
• Certificate validation
  
• Certificate installation and deployment across environments
  

Platform & Environment Support

• Support and troubleshoot certificate deployment on:
  
• Web servers:

  Apache, NGINX, IIS

• Hosting platforms:

  cPanel, Plesk

  , and similar
• Network devices:

  Firewalls, WAFs, Load Balancers

Microsoft ADCS Support

• Assist customers with

  Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)

  , including:
• Understanding certificate templates and enrollment processes
  
• Requesting, renewing, and validating certificates
  

Automation & Integrations

• Support certificate automation and integrations using:
  
• CLM platforms such as

  Venafi, AppViewX

  , or similar tools

• CI/CD pipelines

  and

  GitHub-based workflows

Cloud & Container Environments

• Assist with certificate deployment in:
  

• Kubernetes

• Docker

• Cloud-native and containerized environments
  

Troubleshooting & Documentation

• Troubleshoot SSL/TLS issues related to:
  
• Trust chains
  
• Certificate expiry
  
• TLS handshake and configuration errors
  
• Create and maintain:
  
• Customer-facing documentation
  
• SOPs
  
• Knowledge base articles
  
• Work closely with internal

  engineering and sales teams

  to support:
• Customer onboarding
  
• Migrations
  
• Production rollouts
  

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 3+ years

  of experience in

  PKI, SSL/TLS, or Certificate Management

  Strong understanding of:
• X.509 certificates
  
• Public and Private Certificate Authorities
  
• Certificate chains, trust models, and revocation mechanisms
  
• Hands-on experience with

  Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms

  :
• Venafi, AppViewX, or equivalent
  
• Knowledge of certificate formats and stores:
  
• PFX / P12
  
• JKS
  
• PEM
  
• Windows Certificate Store
  
• Working knowledge of

  Linux command-line tools

• Strong troubleshooting skills for certificate and TLS-related issues in enterprise environments
  

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience working with

  Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)

• Exposure to:
  
• Cloud platforms (

  AWS, Azure, GCP

  )
• DevOps and

  CI/CD pipelines

• Experience supporting enterprise customers or working in a

  managed services / service provider environment
