Job Description – Physiotherapist Position: Physiotherapist Location: Chennai Department: Clinical Services Company: Portea Medical, T Nagar, Chennai. Working Region and Requirement: Male and female - Royapettah, Thousadlight, Central, Mylapore, Female physio wants- Medavakkam, Velachery, Tharani Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs to improve patients’ mobility, relieve pain, and enhance overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients’ physical condition, medical history, and therapy needs. Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient goals. Provide physiotherapy treatments such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and electrotherapy. Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as required. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, ergonomics, and preventive care. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records and therapy documentation. Ensure safe and ethical practices in line with clinical guidelines. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT). Experience: Minimum 0-1 years of clinical experience preferred (freshers with strong skills may apply). Registered with the appropriate Physiotherapy Council. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapy equipment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
