Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conducting thorough physical assessments to diagnose existing or potential impairments, injuries, and limitations in movement and function.
• Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Utilizing various physical techniques, including manual therapy (e.g., massage, joint mobilization), stretching, and exercise programs, to restore function and reduce pain.
• Patient Education: Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment plans, prescribed exercises, and strategies for injury prevention and healthy lifestyle.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, reports, and outcome measures.
• Collaboration: Working with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
• Rehabilitation: Assisting patients with regaining strength, flexibility, and mobility after injuries, illnesses, or surgeries.
• Injury Prevention: Identifying factors affecting physical well-being and providing guidance on preventing future injuries.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A degree in physiotherapy is required.
