Job Description

Requirements / QualificationsCategoryMinimumPreferredEducational Qualifications• Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized university.

  • B.Ed (or equivalent teaching qualification) or a diploma in education.• Good academic record (e.g. 60-70% or more).
  • Certifications in teaching methodology or pedagogy.Experience• At least 1-2 years of teaching Physics to 11th & 12th students or foundation level students.
  • Experience with CBSE/ISC / relevant board curriculum.• More years of experience (3-5 yrs) or experience in coaching for competitive exams (JEE/NEET etc).
  • Experience in designing foundation courses.Skills• Strong subject knowledge; able to explain concepts clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi.
  • Ability to handle foundational topics (concepts from 9th-10th) if required.• Use of interactive/modern teaching tools (PowerPoint, digital boards, models).
  • Ability to prepare students for competitive exams, doubt-sessions.Other Qualities• Punctuality, reliability.
  • Good classroom (or virtual class) management even for short sessions.
  • Ability to follow the school/institute’s syllabus.• Flexible availability for extra classes as needed.
  • Capability to give assignments, small tests, and feedback.Job Description / Duties (for ~2 hrs per day)
  • Teach Physics for classes 11 and 12 (both theory and problem solving) during the scheduled session.
  • For “foundation” students: cover earlier concepts (grade 9 and 10) as needed to build strong base.
  • Prepare lesson plan for the 2-hour session: select topics, design problems, perhaps give worksheets/homework.
  • Clarify doubts of students that arise in that session.
  • Assess students lightly: small quizzes or assignments, provide feedback.
  • Maintain teaching materials: diagrams, slides, experiments if possible or virtual demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with institute/school regarding curriculum coverage.

Salary & Working Hours

  • Working ~2 hours per day (which might come to ~10-12 hours/week depending on days).
  • Salary ₹15,000-₹20,000 per month implies that this is a part-time / short hours engagement.
  • Because hours are limited, expectations should be aligned accordingly: perhaps less administrative work, fewer non-teaching duties.
