Physics Content Lead

As the Physics Content Lead for the comprehensive test-prep question banks, your role will involve spearheading the development of rigorous and pedagogically sound content across AP Physics, JEE, and CUET. You will be responsible for building a strong foundation of content, leading a team of SMEs, and ensuring quality standards to help students internalize key concepts and perform well under pressure. Key Responsibilities: - Design and oversee the creation of exhaustive question banks for AP Physics, JEE, CUET, etc. - Develop a balanced distribution of questions ranging from foundational recall exercises to rigorous test-level problems. - Establish content frameworks aligned with testing blueprints. - Create difficulty taxonomies and tagging systems for adaptive learning pathways. - Ensure questions progressively build conceptual understanding and test-taking confidence. Team Leadership: - Recruit, train, and manage a team of junior physics SMEs. - Establish quality assurance protocols and review processes for all physics content. - Provide feedback and mentorship to help SMEs develop expertise in assessment writing. - Conduct regular calibration sessions to maintain consistency in difficulty levels and explanations. Quality & Pedagogical Excellence: - Write exemplar questions following best practices in assessment design. - Develop detailed solution explanations to reinforce conceptual understanding. - Review and edit all questions for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical value. - Identify and eliminate bias, ambiguity, and potential confusion in problem statements. - Ensure questions reflect diverse contexts and real-world applications. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with product and engineering teams for effective content implementation. - Work with other Content Leads to maintain consistent quality across subjects. - Analyze student performance data to identify content gaps and improvement opportunities. - Stay updated with changes in test formats, content specifications, and scoring rubrics. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physics or a related STEM field (Master's preferred). - 2+ years of experience in physics teaching/content development at the high school or college level preferred. - Experience in managing or mentoring educators or content developers preferred. - Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. - Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.,
