Position:- Physician Assistant Qualification:- B.sc In Physician Assistant Experiance:- 1-4 Years Role & responsibilities Diagnose heart and lung conditions including heart disease, lung cancer, and other conditions that affect the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Assist in performing surgeries on the heart, lungs, and blood vessels, Procure conduit for coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair or replacement surgery and lung resection surgery. Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients who undergo surgery, including managing pain & monitoring vital sign. Managing the care of patients with heart and lung conditions, coordinating with Consultants such as cardiologists, pulmonologists and critical care. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results. Educate patients and their families about heart and lung conditions, treatment options, and the importance of lifestyle modifications, such as diet and exercise. Performing invasive procedures, such as: Thoracentesis, Chest tube insertions, Placement of central venous and dialysis catheters, place Swan Ganz catheters, placement of arterial lines and intra-aortic balloon pumps, Retrieval of vascular tissues for use as a bypass conduit, Endoscopic retrieval. Set up equipment prior to each procedure and also to check their functioning. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning including quality control and calibration. Maintain safe work practices with respect to infection control and radiation safety. Maintenance of inventory of equipment, demand and accounting register of the material used in the department. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
