Physical Education Teacher

FULL-TIME, ON-SITE POSITION IN VISNAGAR, GUJARAT.

Requirements:

· B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) – Minimum 1-year (after graduation) or 3-4 years (integrated program after Class 12)

· B.Sc./B.A. in Physical Education or Sports Sciences

· Recognised by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) - Preferred

· M.P.Ed (Master of Physical Education) – for senior roles - Preferred

· NCC certification or achievement in sports at state/national level - Preferred

· Willingness to relocate to Visnagar, Gujarat

· 1–2 years of teaching or coaching experience

· Proficiency in conducting fitness programs, yoga, games, and sports

· Ability to organize sports events and inter-school competitions

· Good communication and classroom management skills

· First-aid and student safety awareness

· Working knowledge of English, and Gujarati

· Strong work ethic and high work quality standards

Responsibilities:

· Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members

· Planning and conducting physical education classes for various grade levels

· Promoting physical fitness, health, and wellness among students

· Organising sports activities, tournaments, and inter-house competitions

· Monitoring and assessing students' physical development and progress

· Ensuring safety and discipline during physical activities and events

· Maintaining sports equipment and inventory

· Coaching students for school, district, and state-level competitions

· Collaborating with academic staff to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum

· Encouraging team spirit, fair play, and positive attitude among students

· Leading morning fitness routines, assemblies, or yoga sessions

· Creating inclusive programs suitable for all skill levels and abilities

· Keeping up-to-date with trends in physical education and sports training

· Identifying and nurturing talent in specific sports disciplines

· Maintaining records of participation, achievements, and attendance

· Promoting awareness about nutrition and personal hygiene through physical education

· Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members

· Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and other leaders
